Welcome!My name is Haibing Helen Wang.

I’ve loved drawing and using my imagination since a young age. After high school, I studied at the Academy of Art Education in Zhejiang, China.

Between 2015 and 2019, I participated in several workshops led by nationally and internationally renowned watercolor artists. Since 2020, I’ve been a member of IWS Holland (International Watercolor Society). During the COVID-19 outbreak from 2020 to 2022, I continued developing my skills through online courses.

Nothing brings me more joy than doing what I love every day: painting. Through art, I’ve met inspiring artists, friends, and watercolor enthusiasts from around the world.

I mainly paint portraits, but I also enjoy still life, animals, and landscapes. There are so many things in the world that move the heart—and I try to capture that feeling in my work.

Watercolor is my favorite medium. It’s always heartwarming and joyful to watch the unique effects of water and pigment as they flow and blend across the paper. I also work with oil paints and acrylics.

Since September 2024, I’ve been studying at the Classical Academy of Fine Arts in Groningen, where I continue to grow in technique, form, and expression.
